About The Position

The Clinical Research Associate is responsible for the initiation and oversight of clinical evaluations for BioFire Defense's in vitro diagnostic (IVD) products. This role serves as the primary liaison between BioFire Defense and clinical study sites, ensuring the integrity and safeguarding of clinical study data. The Clinical Research Associate assists Clinical Research Scientists in initiating and training new clinical sites, while also monitoring and auditing sites to ensure compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), Federal Regulations, and company procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in a science or related field.
• Experience with molecular biology laboratory techniques, including PCR.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with a broad range of clinical personnel.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in clinical study administration or management.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices.
• Knowledge or previous training in Human Subjects Protections.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and oversee clinical evaluations for IVD products.
• Serve as the primary liaison between BioFire Defense and clinical study sites.
• Ensure the integrity and safeguarding of clinical study data.
• Assist Clinical Research Scientists in the initiation and training of new clinical sites.
• Monitor and audit clinical sites throughout the study to ensure compliance with protocols and regulations.
