A Brief Overview This role performs clinical research activities with a focus on technical and analytical work in support of the data analysis and data management needs of the team. Gathering, analyzing, and making recommendations or decisions based on data is key as it relates to manuscript writing and reporting to different federal agencies. May have minimal patient-facing coordination responsibilities. The Saleh Lab at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has a Clinical Research Associate opening for individuals who are interested in building novel magnetic resonance spectroscopy sequences and reconstruction. The project(s) will use these novel methods to enhance understanding of diseases and progression in individuals with brain diseases. This CRA position will broaden your skillset, scientific background, and research capabilities. Successful applicants will be highly self-motivated, detail-focused, flexible, and fast learners who enjoy working in bustling research and clinical environments. This research is overseen by Dr. Muhammad Saleh (principal investigator) and Dr. Timothy Roberts. As a Program in Advanced Imaging Research (PAIR) member at CHOP, the individual can participate in outreach events and attend lectures and seminars on various diseases and development research, allowing exposure to scientific and clinical leaders in the field.
