About The Position

The Clinical Research Assistant plays a vital role in supporting clinical research coordinators at Panoramic Health by assisting in the conduct of various clinical trial protocols. This position involves both direct and administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practices and maintaining organized research records. The assistant acts as a liaison between clinic and research staff, contributing to the overall success of clinical studies.

Requirements

  • MA certification
  • Bachelor's degree in health-related field preferred
  • Prior research exposure
  • 1-year clinical experience as a MA or research assistant preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology/research
  • Phlebotomy skills a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize duties as needed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Computer skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of GCP and other research guidelines helpful
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external customers
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up

Responsibilities

  • Upholds Panoramic Health Core Values
  • Undergoes research and study specific training as necessary
  • Works under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator on sponsored research projects
  • Performs standard research and laboratory procedures
  • Follows Good Clinical Practices, Panoramic Science Standard Operating Procedures, and Study Protocol requirements
  • Maintains research records, source documents, and related equipment in a professional manner
  • Assists Clinical Research Coordinator(s) and Research Nurse(s) on study protocols
  • Organizes regulatory files and data entry into study-specific electronic data capture systems
  • Handles incoming and outgoing calls for research, including patient scheduling and pre-screening
  • Performs routine research visits, including vital signs and medical history documentation
  • Maintains positive relationships with research staff, clinic staff, study participants, and Sponsor/CRO staff
  • Travels to other locations and to Investigator and Sponsor meetings as needed
  • Performs other duties as required or requested
