The Clinical Research Analyst within the Department of Neurology's Clinical Research Office (NCRO) will work to support Dr. Jennifer A. Kim's laboratory research. The role involves using MATLAB, Python, and R to process electroencephalography (EEG) data and neuroimaging data to build models predicting complications post-acute brain injury. The analyst will organize both retrospective and prospective clinical data related to the project, including variables such as demographic data, hospital variables, and outcomes. This may involve calling patients for prospective collection of such data. Additionally, the analyst will develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), train others to collect and analyze similar data, present the data at conferences, and prepare the data for publication. The analyst will ensure that all research follows policies and procedures to be in compliance with all research regulations for patient privacy. They will also maintain data storage organization and backups.
