Requirements
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Drivers License preferred.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities
- Function as a liaison between internal/external referral sources and inpatient rehabilitation operations.
- Establish relationships and aid with communication to case managers, physicians, payors, patients, families and referral sources in order to generate referrals and drive patient admission volume in the inpatient rehab.
- Ensure appropriate patient selection through clinical chart assessments during on/off-site clinical evaluation of patients in collaboration with the physician.
- Complete in-service and educational opportunities for physicians, case managers, interdisciplinary members and other professionals. Serve as an educational resource to patients, family members and caregivers.
- Participate in the development and implementation of business plans for the rehab unit and contribute to the development and maintenance of referral source promotional information.
