About The Position

Works in the Cancer Registry and reports to the Cancer Registry Manager. Under the direction of the Manager, the Cancer Registrar will identify, register and maintain all reportable cancer cases as designated by the State of California and the American College of Surgeons (ACoS)/Commission on Cancer (COC). These requirements include: abstracting all diagnosed cancer cases within 6 months of first contact, conducting annual life time follow-up of all cancer patients, case finding and assisting with special studies. Requirements

• National Certified Tumor Registrar - National Cancer Registrars Association
• 1 year Experience as CTR

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree Medical Record Technology with ART.
• Cancer Registry and/or Medical Records experience.
