About The Position

The Clinical Registered Nurse II (RN) in the Emergency Department at MarinHealth Medical Center is responsible for delivering safe, quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and delegation. This role requires collaboration with physicians and team members to manage patient care effectively, acting as a patient advocate when necessary. The position is part-time, requiring 36 hours per week during the day shift.

Requirements

• Current valid California RN license
• BLS-HCP certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 6 months of hire
• Demonstrated leadership and delegation skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
• Experience in patient observation and care planning

Nice To Haves

• Preceptorship in an Emergency Department
• Experience as a Clinical RN I at MarinHealth Medical Center

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department.
