About The Position

The Clinical Regional Sales Associate at Stryker is responsible for supporting the sales team in marketing, promoting, and selling Stryker products to healthcare professionals. This role involves frequent travel to cover for employees on leave and to maintain strong customer relationships across multiple territories. The associate will educate medical staff on product usage and functionality while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years in an outside sales position, preferably in medical-related fields.
  • B.A. or B.S. degree required.
  • Field sales training and successful completion of in-house product training program.
  • Computer training and proficiency.
  • Ability to handle routine overnight travel on short notice for extended periods.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with large groups and telephonically.
  • Ability to negotiate price and terms of transactions.
  • Ability to analyze territory market potential and prioritize call patterns.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Sales Representatives in marketing, promoting, and selling Stryker products when not covering for leaves of absence.
  • Market, promote, and sell Stryker products while covering for employees on leaves of absence.
  • Travel frequently, often on short notice, to perform sales tasks and maintain customer relationships.
  • Educate doctors, nurses, and staff on the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products.
  • Tailor promotional messages based on customer knowledge and advise on product selection.
  • Direct product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings.
  • Assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows and clinical meetings.
  • Keep the regional manager informed of territory progress regularly.
  • Solve product problems for customers efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain a sample inventory of products.
  • Adhere to all OR and OSHA guidelines during product evaluations.
  • Exhibit a basic understanding of computers for utilizing Stryker SIS program.
  • Adhere to all GMP policies and procedures as stipulated by the FDA.
