About The Position

The ideal candidate for a CLINICAL RECEPTIONIST with Penn Dental Medicine's clinical departments will provide superior patient-focused experiences supporting the delivery of high-quality care. PATIENT EXPERIENCE Professionally greet & assist patients at the front desk of assigned clinical department. Consistently demonstrate concern and courtesy for colleagues and patients, following up with individuals to ensure satisfaction with the level of service expected. PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Accurately gather/update update patient accounts. Resolve patient inquiries and concerns and/or provide support in connecting patients to department or party who can provide resolution. Review appointment book in support of maintaining productive & efficient patient flow. Dedication to learning and professional development. Other duties as assigned. Provide and maintain expertise in innovative solutions focused on the responsible stewardship of Penn Dental Medicine and its community experience. Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED and 1 year to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Experience with windows based software required.
  • One to Two years’ experience in professional office setting required.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to speak and write Spanish fluently preferred.
  • Axium dental software experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and dental procedures preferred.
