At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office 5 days per week. As a Clinical R&D Engineering Intern, you will help support Atherectomy projects within the Interventional Cardiology division. You will have opportunities across the spectrum of exploratory research, new product development, and sustaining engineering for commercialized devices.

  • Design, fabricate, and help prototype new device designs to address clinical feedback
  • Assist new product development teams in device development and testing
  • Research and analyze clinical and market data for new market opportunities
  • Work effectively with team members across multiple sites and various regions of the world, as well as internal/external partners as necessary to achieve project objectives
  • Must be a rising junior or rising senior (grad dates between Dec 2025 - June 2027), graduating senior (May/June 2025 grad) continuing to grad school, or current grad student
  • Currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering
  • Must be able to commit to program dates May 19th or May 27th - August 9th or August 15th
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse cross-functional teams
  • Ability and passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions
