About The Position

The Clinical Quality Specialist at Advanced Radiology Services plays a crucial role in the ongoing maintenance and development of the Clinical Quality program. This position involves collaborating with physicians and various workgroups to develop, document, and audit policies and procedures related to quality initiatives. The specialist will analyze existing processes, recommend improvements, and create reports to present to stakeholders, ensuring the organization meets quality standards and enhances patient care.

Requirements

  • Three to five years' healthcare experience is required.
  • Registered Nurse, BSN (background in Diagnostic or Interventional Radiology) OR Radiology Technician R.T. (R) (ARRT), Computed Tomography (CT) experience preferred.
  • Two years of experience with quality or process improvement required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to create professional reports, presentations, and solid writing skills required.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills including significant experience with an EMR system, and MS Office products.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Interventional radiology
  • Familiarity with medical imaging
  • ARRT Certification

Responsibilities

  • Work with physicians and various workgroups to develop, maintain and document policies and procedures related to the ARS Quality Program.
  • Recommend, develop and audit key performance indicators including collaborating to create and maintain appropriate quality related reports, analyses, etc.
  • Regular reporting out to committees and stakeholders at various levels of corporation and hospital partners.
  • Recommend and implement Clinical Quality Initiatives mandated by CMS, suggested by the American College of Radiology (ACR), as well as other quality related initiatives that ARS may participate in.
  • Analyze and measure existing processes and data points and work to develop necessary improvement projects.
  • Work closely with our Decision Support and Clinical Applications teams to gather the data needed to respond to business inquiries, implement improvement strategies and troubleshoot pathways to quality care.
  • Create and manage effective dashboards and reports to present to physicians and hospital clients.
  • Participate in hospital quality committees and workgroup projects as appropriate.
  • Assist in onboarding new physicians at each hospital related to ARS Quality initiatives and value based program participation.
