The Clinical Quality Specialist will support ongoing clinical excellence within the organization by serving as an advisor to the medical staff, administration, service lines, support divisions and departments regarding the specialty practice area of quality improvement. This position will collect and analyze data to monitor and document outcomes and cost effectiveness of performance improvement initiatives. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Conduct clinical inquiries to improve patient care. Lead and participate in performance initiatives to enable clinical practice reform. Participate in the development and implementation of evidence-based standards of care. Abstract, record, and submit data from the medical record for CMs Quality Initiative Programs. Utilize appropriate resources (software vendor, information service support, etc.) to assure on-time submission of data to CMS or other agencies. Performance, review and analysis of electronic clinical quality measures. Provide education, and report to providers, frontline staff and other personnel, as appropriate for continuous quality improvement. Collaborate with other system facilities and departments regarding quality reporting and analysis. Participate in peer review activities which may include medical record review, committee support, and correspondence. Maintain records of work product as required.

  • Bachelor's Degree - Required
  • 7 years Clinical Experience - Required
  • 3 years Quality Experience - Required
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License - State Licensing Board - Required
