About The Position

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a Clinical Quality Improvement Manager to join the Acute Care Quality Improvement team. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field (or relevant experience in lieu of degree equivalent to 4 years).
• 6 years of healthcare performance improvement experience; or 4 years of healthcare performance improvement work experience and a master's degree.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or CPHQ required upon start.

Responsibilities

• Manages the quality improvement program for the hospitals within the region they serve and will travel between Inova facilities, as needed.
• Collaborates with hospitals executive, physician, nursing and ancillary leaders in strategic planning and implementation of data driven initiatives to achieve clinical excellence within the acute care space.
• Serves as a coach, facilitator or advisor dependent upon the needs of the organization and as a subject matter expert in established performance improvement techniques and strategies.
• Participates in the successful management of change to ensure improvements are spread and a sustainability plan is implemented.
• Provides formal and just-in-time education on performance improvement methodologies to increase organizational improvement capability.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
