Requirements

  • One of the following: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Business, Computer Science, or a related field OR minimum of three (3) years of related job or industry experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a provider practice and/or managed care/insurance environment utilizing electronic health records (EHR)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of analytic or statistical analysis experience
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • A high level of integrity and accountability
  • The ability to communicate complex data clearly to diverse audiences
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with EMR data, including extraction, reporting, and validation
  • Proficiency in Power BI (or similar visualization tools) and advanced Excel
  • Knowledge of coding guidelines, medical billing, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and data integrity practices

Responsibilities

  • Analyze clinical and operational data using statistical methods, predictive modeling, and data mining
  • Develop dashboards and reports (Power BI and other tools) to support quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives
  • Translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights for leaders and stakeholders
  • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and operational performance
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams to inform strategic and operational decisions
  • Contribute to performance improvement initiatives through data-driven recommendations
  • Perform data collection, abstraction, and validation for internal and external reporting
  • Retrieve and analyze data from systems such as Premier, NHSN, Press Ganey, Safety Zone, and HQR
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of all reporting
  • Support development and maintenance of databases and data collection tools
  • Assist with system upgrades, testing, and integrations
  • Help train teams on reporting tools and system enhancements
