About The Position

Under the direction of the Data Analytics Manager, the Clinical Quality Data Analyst will be an integral team member assisting Gardner Health Services (GHS) efforts to improve the overall quality of care delivered to our patients, their families, and the community we serve. The Clinical Quality Analyst will focus on reporting and assisting with improvement activities for select reports/grant activities, such as community COVID 19 testing/vaccination efforts, patient satisfaction, empanelment, and Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) grants. This position will be responsible for the collection (including data entry as needed), creation, management, and analysis of data related to the aforementioned initiatives and other activities as directed. Additionally, this position will assist the CQI Director in training staff and maintaining patient satisfaction efforts as well as other quality priorities that arise for the organization. This position will use tools and techniques of data analytics, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), including process improvement, quality improvement activities, analysis and interpretation of data using computer based registries, software, and health records (NextGen) or similar data collection systems. The Clinical Quality Data Analyst will provide CQI support to line staff, management, and executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Health Informatics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration or other related field
  • Ability to effectively present information/trainings and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and the general public.
  • Working experience in data reporting, data analysis, and CMS/HRSA/MU/HEDIS data measure sets.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree (MA)
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
  • Experience in or with a federally qualitied health center (FQHC), community health clinic, or non-profit health center
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and population analytic software, Next Gen and i2i Tracks
  • Knowledge of principles related to Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), Uniform Data System (UDS) meaningful use (MU), Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) incentive programs, and QI models/tools.
