Advert As an All Age Continuing Healthcare Clinical Quality Assurance Manager you will undertake a range of key duties to quality and safety for patients under the Continuing Healthcare National Framework You will be responsible for leading on a number of CHC Quality Assurance Assessments and risk management for Learning Disability and Autismn care providers. Your role includes being responsible for line managing a small number of Band 6 (Clinical Quality Monitoring Officers). The successful applicant will work closely with colleagues across the pathway to assure the quality of care delivered in nursing care homes and supporting progress through the NHS Birmingham and Solihull ICB, Integrated Quality Assurance Framework. Detailed job description and main responsibilities The Clinical Quality and Assurance Manager will support the ICB to assure and improve the quality of health services across Birmingham and Solihull. The post-holder will work closely with other members of the Quality team, Continuing Healthcare colleagues and Contracting team to assure the ICB of the clinical quality of services within the areas of commissioned health services. The post-holder will contribute to the delivery of the ICB quality strategy through commissioning for quality assurance programmes and provide clinical quality support. The post-holder will liaise with providers, other ICBs and functions regarding assurance, compliance and improvements of services utilised by the ICB population. In addition they will work closely with clinical leads and managers within and beyond the Continuing Healthcare team, in order to support the ICB to deliver its statutory duties in relation to quality assurance and improvement.
