About The Position

A Clinical Quality Analyst 1 within our health system will play a vital role in improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall quality of care. This position requires a detail-oriented, analytical individual who can support the health system's quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Education: Associates’ degree in Nursing or Allied Health.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years related experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a role related to quality improvement or data analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Collect, compile, and analyze data related to patient outcomes and quality of care. Utilize various data sources such as electronic health records (EHRs), patient surveys, and clinical databases.
  • Reporting: Generate detailed reports that summarize findings, highlight trends, and provide recommendations for quality improvement initiatives.
  • Performance Measurement: Assist in the development and implementation of performance measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Improvement Initiatives: Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to design and implement quality improvement projects. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and track the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate findings and recommendations to various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, management, and external agencies. Prepare presentations and deliver them to diverse audiences.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Maintain thorough documentation of quality improvement activities and outcomes.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in healthcare quality improvement and data analysis. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
