About The Position

We are seeking a full time Clinical Psychologist at the Naval Health Clinic in Memphis, TN The type of work may include, but is not limited to, the following: Core Duties: Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and facility privileges. Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate. Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders. Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries. Assist in rehabilitation of patients. This position is part of Psychological Health under the Medical Home Port initiative for the Primary Care delivery program. The program seeks to implement a new model of patient and family centered health care delivery for primary care that is team-based, comprehensive, and designed to fully meet the complete primary care health and wellness needs of patients. The contractor shall provide personnel for service in the Behavioral Health Clinic of the Medical Home Port at Naval Branch Health Clinic (NBHC) Naval Support Activity (NSA) Mid-South, Millington, TN. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am and 4:30pm, to include a 1 hour lunch break No Holidays or Weekends!

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA accredited psychology program.
  • Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent post-grad experience as a licensed clinical psychologist
  • Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist from any state.
  • Possess a current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
