About The Position

Cotler Psychology Services is seeking a Florida-licensed psychologist to provide specialized psychological care to seniors residing in skilled nursing and assisted living communities throughout the Palm City, Florida area. This role offers an opportunity to create meaningful change in the emotional health and quality of life of older adults within a supportive, flexible environment that prioritizes ethics over quotas. The psychologist will work directly with older adults facing challenges such as mood and cognitive disorders, grief, adjustment to chronic illness, and other life transitions, providing impactful guidance to help them maintain emotional balance, cope with medical changes, and navigate aging.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D.)
• Active Florida license or imminent eligibility for licensure
• Dedicated to working with seniors

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized psychological care to seniors residing in skilled nursing and assisted living communities
• Make clinical decisions without interference from administrative pressure
• Ensure patients receive care tailored to their individual needs
• Work directly with older adults who face a wide variety of challenges, including mood and cognitive disorders, grief, adjustment to chronic illness, and other life transitions
