About The Position
Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating the specialty treatment program and for coordinating and evaluating all activities within the specialty treatment program. The incumbent will administer, score, and interpret a wide variety of psychological testing instruments and procedures, and will plan and perform both individual and group psychotherapy on a regularly scheduled basis. The role also includes conducting interviews and crisis intervention sessions, and participating as a member of an interdisciplinary unit team in developing, implementing, and assessing program needs and goals.
