Clinical Psychologist Practicum
About The Position
The Clinical Psychology Practicum Student provides supervised clinical services as part of their graduate training program. Under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist, the practicum student participates in the delivery of psychological services to clients across the lifespan. Longview Campus is the new Acute Care Behavioral Health facility which serves Larimer County residents in need of urgent help with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Requirements
- Enrollment in an APA-accredited (or similar) doctoral or master’s program in Clinical Psychology
- Completion of required practicum coursework prior to placement
- Strong communication, professionalism, and ethical judgment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake interviews, clinical assessments, and psychological testing as appropriate
- Provide individual and/or group therapy under supervision
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in case consultations, supervision, and team meetings
- Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards of practice
