This position involves providing psychological evaluation and psychotherapeutic services to medical patients and, when appropriate, their significant others. The role includes consulting with physicians and nurses, making recommendations for appropriate services, and functioning as a clinical resource to members of multidisciplinary treatment teams. Additionally, the position may involve providing recommendations for program development around issues of health psychology and supervising doctoral and post-doctoral trainees in psychology. The patient population may include adolescents, adults, and geriatric individuals.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree with primary study in Clinical Psychology.
• Licensed as a psychologist.
• Completion of one (1) year supervised clinical internship.
• Must be CPR certified.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with Chronic Mental Illnesses.
• One (1) year experience in a medical setting evaluating and treating patients for psychological factors associated with medical problems.
