About The Position

Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM), Department of Psychiatry at Boston Medical Center (BMC) is hiring a Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team. Our values and mission continue to drive our stronghold of excellence in patient care, education, and research. Both newly trained and/or experienced Psychologists are welcome to apply. Psychologists are members of the faculty at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM). We are seeking a clinical psychologist to work in the Outpatient (OP) program in the Department of Psychiatry and BMC. We are extremely interested in candidates who practice from a trauma-informed lens and have expertise in various evidence-based treatments (e.g., motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy). We are especially interested in individuals who have comfort and experience working with severe anxiety disorders and their treatments including exposure and response prevention for OCD and exposure-based therapies for PTSD and/or managing caseloads of patients with co-occurring personality disorders including borderline personality disorder. Applicants who have experience working across the lifespan would be prioritized. Strongly encourage clinicians of multicultural backgrounds and multi-language capacities to apply, particularly individuals who speak Spanish.

Requirements

  • Clinical PhD, Counseling PhD (or comparable degree).
  • This search is open to psychologist candidates at all levels of career experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (written and verbal).
