About The Position

The Licensed Psychologist position at MRG Exams involves performing medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This role focuses on conducting Disability Assessments rather than traditional patient care, allowing the psychologist to make a significant impact on the lives of veterans by reviewing medical records and completing assessment questionnaires.

Requirements

• Must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA Accredited program/school.
• Hold an active & unrestricted Psychology license.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
• Review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
• Assess an average of 4 Veterans per day.
