The position is responsible for project management of medical writing teams, managing multiple regulatory writing projects, client interfacing and document management responsibilities. Please note that previous project management experience is preferred for this role.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management including planning, execution, time management, monitoring, budgeting, document control and project maintenance
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills – written and verbal
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and adapt to shifting priorities and competing demands
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Experience with Asana or other project management tool
  • Bachelor’s degree in management, business or other related field

Responsibilities

  • Organizing and facilitating client and team project meetings
  • Developing and maintaining new projects plans using Asana project management software
  • Document control – interfacing with clients and CE writing team to obtain, organize and store required project source documents using SharePoint document storage platform
  • Tracking and updating all project performance, timing and project estimates at the task level
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation in Asana
  • Reporting to management on progress for all assigned projects
  • Assisting technical writing leads with project scheduling and client deliverables
  • Additional client interface
  • Account management interfacing – project scope changes, project estimates above vs. budgets
  • Budget management – maintaining cost control by continuously tracking project progress against planned budgets
  • Performing other standard project management duties
