About The Position

New River Valley Community Services, one of the largest Community Service Boards in Virginia, works hard to stay on the pulse of innovative, evidence-based practices for providing high quality care to the NRV and we can use your assistance! Our team is looking for a Clinical Program Supervisor to join our Outpatient leadership team. As a Clinical Program Supervisor with Outpatient, you will provide direct clinical and administrative guidance, and supervision to outpatient staff. The supervisor assists in day-to-day management, supervision, and development of program services, and monitoring service quality and program needs. Additionally, the clinical supervisor will provide supervision and oversight to clinicians facilitating outpatient groups, individual, and family therapy to individuals with substance use, mental health, and/or co-occurring disorders. Additionally, this supervisor will provide oversight and supervision to the Intensive Outpatient Program. We offer flexible scheduling and are a National Health Services Corps Loan Repayment site. Full-Time staff receive a complete benefits package including health insurance, Virginia Retirement System, PTO, life insurance and more! Starting Salary: $65,475-Depending on Experience

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or other license-eligible field is required.
  • Licensure as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker or Clinical Psychologist with the State of Virginia is required. QMHP eligibility or status is required.
  • At least three years of experience providing direct clinical services, preferably in a community based mental health setting is required with experience in substance use and co-occurring disorders strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year's experience providing clinical supervision is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and supervision to the Intensive Outpatient Program.
