About The Position

The Principal Patient Safety Officer at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center is a Full Time position that works 40-hour, Day shifts. This role is responsible for overseeing and implementing systems and processes to ensure the safety of patients. The Patient Safety Manager will monitor and analyze patient safety data, develop and implement improvement initiatives to prevent errors and accidents, conduct safety training for staff, and investigate and address any incidents that compromise patient safety. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field.
  • California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
  • 5 years of experience in an acute care hospital.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field.
  • Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) upon hire.
  • 2 years of patient safety experience.
