About The Position

This position assumes responsibility for the functioning of the Social Services Department of the Child/Adol, both inpatient and outpatient, and the quality of social services provided through policies, procedures, PI, and the supervision of licensed and non-licensed clinical therapists. Serves as clinical liaison with the continuum of care services. Contributes to the development of programs for specialized patient populations for inpatient and the continuum of care. In conjunction with community resources, contributes to the maintenance of relationships with outside agencies, private practitioners, insurers and family members. Participates in county and regional meetings of the public mental health providers. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s specific needs and provide clinical treatment and care.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field required.
  • TN LCSW required; TN LPC preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience with case management and utilization review process.
  • Previous supervisory experience with inpatient and outpatient clinical therapists.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience of non-licensed clinical therapists required.
  • Affiliation with graduate school clinical students preferred.
  • Previous continuum of care experience highly preferred.
