Visit us online at https://bhconnections.org Our specialty is in customizing solutions that: Provide access to faster, reliable mental health services Support for your clinical team by providing mental health case management Assist organizations in mitigating the challenges associated with mental health care Improve revenue capture by increasing throughput and decreasing operational issues The Clinical Director has the responsibility of managerial and clinical oversight for all mobile/tele-video assessors and call center staff, provides training for all staff; provides clinical supervision, review and oversight of clinical documentation ensuring the appropriate triaging of patients is made to the most appropriate level of care; supervises the daily schedule of staff to ensure suitable coverage for 24/7 coverage of the call center.

Requirements

  • Possess strong leadership skills
  • Experience in referral management and assessment processes, protocols, and best practices
  • Knowledge of the healthcare systems, basic insurance requirements, and regulatory guidelines related to referrals, and assessments allowing access to optimize the team performance, identify areas for improvement, developing strategies to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes
  • Analytical Skills to evaluate data and identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality of care
  • Strong problem solving abilities to address challenges and make informed decisions to optimize the referral and assessment processes
  • Minimum Masters Degree in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field
  • Meets current state requirements for the provision of mental health assessments and/or licensed in the State where BHC is providing services as a Licensed Professional Counselor (“LPC”), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (“LMFT”), Licensed Master Social Worker (“LMSW”), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (“LCSW”), or Registered Nurse (“RN”)

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably two or more years' experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting and experience in health care business, business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results is preferred.

  • Effectively manage and inspire the referral management team
  • Provide guidance, set performance expectations and promote a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Effective communication, delegation, and conflict resolution skills are essential
  • Optimize the team performance, identify areas for improvement, developing strategies to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes
  • Evaluate data and identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality of care
  • Address challenges and make informed decisions to optimize the referral and assessment processes
