About The Position

Under the general direction of the Trauma Service Manager and Medical Director of Trauma Service, this position participates in the operations of Trauma Services. The Trauma Coordinator (RN) is accountable for identification of all major trauma patients entering the Medical Center, and through case management, coordinates the care of those patients with all departments involved in the delivery of trauma care. The Trauma Coordinator is a registered nurse who has a comprehensive understanding and competent skill level in Trauma and Critical Care. Collects and evaluates data pertinent to trauma service patients and assists the Trauma Service Secretary with maintenance of the Trauma Register. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • 5 years Nursing experience in an acute care setting.
  • 3 years Trauma/Emergency Nursing or Trauma/Critical Care experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN).
  • 1 year Critical experience.
