About The Position

90% FTE, Monday - Friday, day shift. No weekends, holidays or on-call responsibilities. You will be working at University Hospital in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Clinical Program Coordinator - Registered Nurse (RN) in the Ambulatory Procedure Center (APC) to: Coordinate care for patients having outpatient surgical procedures, inpatient and outpatient GI and Bronchoscopy procedures. Triage, procedure preparation, and multi-disciplinary communication with advanced proceduralists. Organize cases and caseloads, complete chart reviews/audits and schedule procedures. Work autonomously using critical thinking skills to ensure a well prepped and safe procedure along with a follow up plan of care. There is no hands-on patient care within this role. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse license in the State of Wisconsin Required
  • 2 years of nursing care experience Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Preferred
  • 2 years of nursing experience in specialty area of care Preferred
