The Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND) is an academic unit within the College of Health Sciences, designated as a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD), and includes a small interdisciplinary faculty. A key faculty role is that of the Clinical Professor, Assistant. The Clinical Professor is an appointment granted to individuals who hold terminal qualification in their disciplines, and who have demonstrated ability and appropriate experience, to make significant teaching contributions in health care and disability through programs at WIND. Candidates should hold a terminal degree (minimal master's level) in Communication Disorders with current license in the field, and professional certification from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Candidates should have strong clinical expertise in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) with the ability to translate experience into curriculum and instruction, providing evidence of legal, ethical, and professional behavior.
