About the position

The Autism Society of North Carolina (ASNC) is growing our clinical team! We have positions open in our ABA program for individuals with autism. Caseloads are ethically and carefully managed to a maximum of 6-8 clients. We offer the opportunity for growth and expansion of roles into other areas of our Clinical Department, such as behavioral consultation and training coaching to a variety of groups across the state. Responsibilities

  • Design behavioral interventions, habilitative programming, and LifeLong Interventions within the Clinical Services Department following framework for appropriate assessments, protocols, formats, and professional standards.
  • Provide training and consultation as needed, working with families, MCOs, Services, ARS, Human Rights Committee, Clinical Director, Associate Director - Clinical & Education, and other ASNC departments and personnel.
  • Provide behavioral consultation in the region you are associated with.
  • Provide implementation, training, and oversight of best practice and emerging practice protocols throughout agency delivery.
  • Work with ASNC staff to advocate for appropriate clinical practice for individuals with ASD within designated arenas.
  • Clinically, administratively, and in a coordination capacity supervise paraprofessional staff within Clinical Services.
  • If licensed in the state of North Carolina and certified by the BACB for supervision, may be eligible to supervise Associate BCBAs under the director of the Clinical Director and the LLI Director.

Requirements

  • A BCBA must hold a certification and/or license as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst through the BACB (Behavior Analysis Certification Board); licensure through the NC BALB.
  • Preference for persons with at least two years professional experience in working with clinical practice with individuals with ASD, program management, inclusive of direct field experience in supporting/coaching/mentoring individuals with ASD/IDD.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable of implementing evidence-based practices including but not limited to ABA, PRT, and others.
