As a Clinical Practice Supervisor in Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine, you will play a crucial role in overseeing patient care and access flow by both clinical and clerical staff. Your leadership will be instrumental in promoting positive patient care outcomes and facilitating the daily operations of our clinical environment. This position requires a proactive approach to managing staffing and patient flow, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care in a timely manner. In this role, you will be responsible for staff scheduling, ensuring that appropriate coverage is maintained based on clinic utilization and scheduling needs. You will directly supervise both clinical and clerical staff, taking charge of recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation. Your ability to interface with access services will be key in managing all aspects of clinic patient access and scheduling. You will also be responsible for adding and closing clinics based on utilization and provider needs, which includes managing access services and the allocation of clinical staff. As a super user of the AEMR system, you will ensure chart management and accuracy, training staff as necessary. You will serve as the Kronos timekeeper or delegate this responsibility to a team member. Additionally, you will oversee clinical supply orders, budget reconciliation, and daily/weekly deposits for POS staff at various locations. Your role will also involve managing the missing charge process for DO sites, implementing process improvements to meet UHPS charge targets, and responding to patient complaints. This position requires compliance with all policies and standards, including the secure maintenance of Protected Health Information (PHI).
