• Under the general direction of the COO, plans, organizes and directs the daily operations, billing and collection of all patient accounts for the physician office practices in an efficient and timely manner and in accordance with JCAHO, federal and state regulations, organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Ensures all federal, state, organization and departmental policies and procedures are followed in the pre-certification process. Communicates with medical staff, other departments, patients, visitors and outside agencies while maintaining confidentiality. Position requires self motivation, creativity and capabilities to function in a semi-autonomous role within a fast pace and dynamic environment.
