  • Manages the daily operations of the specialty physician practices under the oversight of the Director of Operations.
  • Demonstrates problem solving and critical thinking skills within a medical practice setting under high stress situations.
  • Ensures the successful operation and optimization of the practices electronic health record (EHR).
  • Ensures staff and leaders are proficient in EHR utilization and develop necessary 'super users' for onboarding of new employees.
  • Ensures work practices are consistent with standards set forth by regulatory agencies.
  • Develops and improves specialty specific best practices and workflows.
  • Manages physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to meet NMC expectations.
  • Initiates and implements ongoing education and training for all personnel.
  • Performs monthly review of Key Performance Indicators to ensure practices meet goals.
  • Assists in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports.
  • Ensures the efficiency and productivity of service lines.
  • Collaborates with other areas of NMC who support NMC Ambulatory clinics.
  • Manages physician productivity with understanding of worked RVU model.
  • Effectively manages change and provides support during times of change.
  • Analyzes service and quality metrics to identify areas for corrective action.
  • Understands the financial impact of their department and communicates it appropriately.
  • Builds effective networks and establishes rapport with other NMC connections.
  • Drives operational and service excellence by setting clear performance standards.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Experience in medical office setting preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
