Apply now and embark on a career where your expertise is valued, your growth is supported, and your impact is profound. 44-bed adult medical-surgical oncology unit Medical patients requiring acute oncology care including chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and complex care and monitoring Surgical patients receiving post-op care for laparoscopic and complex oncology related surgeries including: Thyroidectomies Gastrectomies Adrenalectomies Splenectomies Liver resections Bowel resections Melanoma excisions Pancreaticoduodenectomies (Whipple procedure) Part of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center A top ranked hospital for cancer care according to U.S. News and World Report Best Hospitals Rankings First hospital in Iowa to be named a Magnet Hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and four time re-designation Why Join the Team? Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing required. Specialty in Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL/CNS) designation preferred
• Current, valid license to practice nursing in Iowa
• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience
• Demonstrates knowledge and experience with: Staff education and development Outcomes based practice and quality improvement Leading change processes including implementation of evidence-based practice
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in computer software applications

• Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) – Certification by the Commission on Nurse Certification or certification relevant to clinical specialty
• Demonstrate ability to understand and deliver care at the microsystem level while being part of a larger, complex and diverse environment
• Role models professional and clinical practice
• Experience with nursing research
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills and ability to problem solve
• Member/active participation in professional organization(s)
