About The Position

Coordinates physician(s) schedule to accommodate needs of patients and the practice. Verifies daily provider schedules, implements daily changes and prioritizes schedule change requests. Manages the clinic schedule. Follows-up on missed appointments. Provides clerical support to the practice, nurses and physicians. Assists and coordinates managed care duties/referral management. Completes appropriate referral forms. Facilitates written orders and correspondence for patients. Scheduling & Patient Outreach: Manage scheduling, follow-up, and communication to reduce delays and no‑show rates. Program Coordination: Oversee daily logistics; coordinate Centering groups (materials, room scheduling, rosters); provide consistent support and backup coverage. Patient Recruitment & Engagement: Assist with onboarding and recruitment for Centering and perinatal behavioral health services.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate.
  • Typically requires 1 year of experience in healthcare medical terminology.
  • Computer experience.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Can perform basic calculations.
