About The Position
The Department of Nursing at MSU Denver is hiring a Clinical Placement Manager. The Clinical Placement Manager assumes a leadership role in establishing partnerships between the Department of Nursing and clinical facilities for the purpose of securing quality placements for all students in the nursing program, creating a clinical calendar, which involves aligning and coordinating schedules from faculty, hospitals, and the nursing department course schedules. Changes to pre-arranged clinical placement dates and times occur frequently, which requires quick action to reschedule. Additional responsibilities include clinical placement analysis and assessment, participation in activities required for program accreditation and Colorado State Board of Nursing approval, recruiting qualified clinical faculty in collaboration with lead faculty and the Department Chair, and operational management of clinical placements.
