About The Position

The Clinical Placement & Compliance Coordinator (CPCC) supports the execution of clinical placement and compliance activities within an assigned region or program area. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Placement & Compliance, this position is responsible for coordinating student clinical placements, supporting student and faculty compliance requirements, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing operational support to ensure students are prepared and eligible to participate in clinical coursework. The coordinator serves as an operational liaison among students, faculty, clinical partners, and internal stakeholders to support timely placement, regulatory compliance, and positive clinical learning experiences. There are opportunities within four different regions/divisions: Florida Region Midwest Region National Supporting South Region

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2 years’ experience required working in clinical, healthcare, office/auditing, or higher education setting.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position most of the time.
  • Must be able to occasionally move around the work location.
  • Constantly operates office and/or teach equipment which may include computers, copiers, fax machines, audio/visuals.
  • Frequently uses voice and hearing to communicate with students, staff, or colleagues face-to-face or over the telephone.
  • Visually or otherwise identify, observe, and assess.
  • Occasionally move, carry, or lift ten pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in clinical coordination, healthcare administration, higher education operations, or related fields preferred.
  • Familiarity with clinical education environments, regulatory requirements, or accreditation standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Student Clinical Placement Coordination: Coordinate student clinical placements in accordance with established timelines to ensure preparedness for clinical coursework.
  • Maintain accurate placement records to ensure clinical experiences fulfill required hours, within the established timelines, and in accordance with university operating procedures.
  • Evaluate clinical placement capacity and determine appropriate student assignments based on program and site requirements.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to students regarding clinical requirements, timelines, and progression, and exercising judgment to support successful outcomes.
  • Prioritize competing placement issues based on program needs, risk, and stakeholder impact.
  • Follow protocols established by affiliated clinical sites when requesting student placement and assigning students to clinical experiences.
  • Assess clinical placement challenges and determine appropriate solutions, escalating only complex or high-risk issues to the Director of Clinical Placement & Compliance or appropriate leadership as needed.
  • Clinical Compliance: Support student compliance processes to ensure all requirements are completed by established deadlines and prior to participation in clinical experiences.
  • Track, verify, and maintain compliance documentation in accordance with university and clinical site requirements.
  • Communicate compliance expectations, deadlines, and status updates to students and faculty in a timely manner.
  • Assess student compliance issues and determine appropriate interventions or escalations in consultation with leadership.
  • Analyze compliance data to identify potential risks, trends, or gaps and provide recommendations to leadership to improve processes or resolve issues.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a subject matter resource to students and faculty regarding clinical placement and compliance questions.
  • Provide exceptional service to stakeholders through timely and professional communication to meet University expectations.
  • Coordinate communication with clinical partners related to student rosters, schedules, and compliance documentation as directed.
  • Collaborate with faculty, program leadership, and clinical teams to ensure alignment of placement and compliance activities.
  • Document student status updates in accordance with operating procedures to ensure visibility and accuracy of on-going reporting.
  • Participate in cross‑functional initiatives supporting clinical placement and compliance operations.
  • All other duties as assigned.
