About The Position

This position will be responsible for supporting oncology clinical pharmacy services on an academic teaching service primarily focusing on lymphoma and medical oncology patients. This position will work closely with their outpatient counterpart to ensure smooth transitions of care for these patients. Clinical Pharmacists are aligned with assigned patient population, medical team, or designated specialty area within the hospital and/or ambulatory clinics. Provide active participation in related education and research activities.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • PharmD or equivalent education and hospital or ambulatory training/experience required.
  • PGY2 residency or equivalent experience required.
  • Two to four years of experience in a relevant practice area considered equivalent to each year of residency training.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff, pharmacy residents, and students.
  • Knowledge and understanding of general hospital and outpatient clinic operations.
  • Ability to integrate clinical services and educational activities.

Nice To Haves

  • PGY2 residency training preferred.
  • Board certification preferred.
