As a Clinical Pharmacy Manager for a Medicare Part D (STARs) Clinical Pharmacist team, you will manage a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and clinical administrators to improve health quality outcomes (i.e. medication adherence, appropriate drug utilization). In addition, you will analyze team data, quality, and performance to make operational, clinical, and logistical improvements. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of residence
  • 3+ years of experience as a Pharmacist
  • Reside in a commutable distance to the office in state of residence

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on the National Personal Pharmacy Program (NP3)
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Possess excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Experience with precepting and/or training strongly preferred
  • Experience utilizing Point, MIIM and other shared network drives
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Knowledge of STARS, Medicare Part D and Medicaid management
  • Microsoft Teams or other Virtual Training Platform experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage and is accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors
  • Work on process design and systems set-up, troubleshooting and updates
  • Assist with process implementation and improvement
  • Analyze data and prepare management summaries related to work stream and performance results
  • Ensure clinical content for internal documents and on member calls is up to date
  • Focus on continual staff development
  • Develop staff recognition opportunities
  • Write and collaborate on member/provider collateral materials for pharmacy programs
  • Assess training needs of the current team and address gaps to ensure consistency, best practices and standard operating procedures across the portfolio
  • Perform other duties as required to support projects contributing to departmental goals
