JOB SUMMARY Manages clinical activities, priorities and problems, pharmacist staffing and workloads. Provides status report to pharmacy management effectively communicating issues, concerns, and suggestions as appropriate. Manages and develops clinical initiatives and determines therapeutic alternatives when drug shortages are identified and communicates with medical staff leadership and key stakeholders. Assists with budget preparation and daily financial activity specifically in relation to high cost drugs. Assists the Director and Assistant Vice President of Pharmacy with meeting administrative goals and objectives. The coordinator will be primarily responsible for coordination of operations related to the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and the formulary management process.
