About The Position
AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is the largest specialized provider of HIV/AIDS medical care in the nation, founded in 1987. The Clinical Pharmacist plays a crucial role in expanding the primary care functions of pharmacists, which includes providing individualized health promotion and disease prevention services. This role involves the administration of vaccines, long-acting HIV treatments, diabetes monitoring, nicotine reduction programs, and other health initiatives in collaboration with AHF providers. The Clinical Pharmacist is expected to enhance AHF's reputation by contributing valuable insights and ensuring consistent application of processes and policies across the organization. The Clinical Pharmacist will work closely with a team to deliver health promotion and disease prevention services, including immunizations and smoking cessation programs, while managing collaborative drug therapy.
