Job Details AnewHealth has an excellent opportunity for an ambitious pharmacist looking to take our multi-dose, adherence packaging pharmacy specializing in long term care at home to the next level. We are recruiting a pharmacist to perform prescription and order verification and have the ambition and skills to develop and provide leadership to a team of technicians expanding our operations to our CA facility. Past leadership development, being a high-potential team member in your current role with a clear affability with colleagues are desired characteristics. All pharmacist positions at AnewHealth Pharmacy are expected to deliver on quality standards that allow us to ensure proper medication profiles are managed, reviewed and verified. Additionally, the Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the proper dispensing of all medications filled at AnewHealth Pharmacy to ensure the correct and safe supply of medications are delivered to each patient. They will own the pharmacist verification process of the ExactPacks and medication additions going out to patient homes. The Pharmacist is responsible for adhering to company policies and procedures and expected to help build team capabilities through leadership skills and follow up.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Active state of California Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Experience with pharmacist verification work
  • Clinical Judgement Expertise
  • Ability to work 7:00 PM - 3:30 PM PST
  • Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate with multiple partners

Nice To Haves

  • Prior interface with OutcomesMTM and Mirixa, a plus

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring clinical accuracy and execution of patient prescriptions
  • Verification of hard copy and digital Rx’s
  • Communication with healthcare professionals and making sure that the Dr. call line is answered
  • Supervision and execution of incoming and outgoing prescription transfers
  • Ensure all legal, privacy and compliance requirements are met
  • Other duties as appropriate
