About The Position

Position Summary: The Clinical Staff Pharmacist is responsible for assuring that all of the day to day activities for the provision of pharmaceutical care at their campus are carried out in full accordance with all Federal and State laws, rules and regulations. The Clinical Staff Pharmacist assists the Director of Pharmacy in the input of orders, supervision and control of all activities of the Pharmacy Department in support of the goals and objectives of their facility and Dignity Health's mission and vision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
  • BLS-CPR
  • Active State Pharmacist License in good standing in the state in which the employee works: PHARM:XX
  • Must possess strong knowledge of Pharmacy Services
  • knowledgeable and skilled in current practice concepts of pharmacy practice settings
  • strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and professional standards

  • Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
