Opened in 1945 by the Sisters of Bon Secours, it was acquired by Beaumont Health System in October 2007. Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital offers medical, surgical, emergency, obstetric and critical care services. Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is also home to The James and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center, a leading-edge, hybrid surgical suite offering advanced learning, technological advancements and a wide array of procedures ranging from traditional to minimally invasive approaches. Scope of work Provides Pharmaceutical Care according to professional and departmental standards and statutory requirements. Provides safe, effective, rational, and cost-conscious pharmacotherapeutic recommendations through the department's medication management programs. The Clinical Pharmacist assists in supervising the functional activities of Pharmacy Technicians and Interns. Participates in department directed medication management activities consistent with Beaumont Health goals and objectives. The Clinical Pharmacist will demonstrate good judgment and decisiveness during daily activities, maintaining a working knowledge of current pharmaceutical practice, and demonstrate a personal commitment to professional growth. The Clinical Pharmacist will support management by providing oversight, guidance and support for all assigned areas and will participate in the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of new programs and activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Pharm.D. degree in pharmacy.
• Clinical Pharmacist license- State of Michigan or eligible to obtain Upon Hire required
• Pharmacist Controlled Substance license - State of Michigan or eligible to obtain Upon Hire required

Nice To Haves

• Preferred residency training.
• 3 years of relevant experience
• 3 years of experience as a clinical pharmacist or pharmacy residency/fellowship preferred.
• In absence of residency training, candidates with demonstrated superior knowledge (board certification, considerable practical clinical experience, etc.) in area of focus may be considered preferred.
