About The Position

The Clinical Pharmacist at Providence St. Peter Hospital is responsible for assessing patient-specific medications and clinical data to ensure safety, efficacy, and optimization of pharmacoeconomic opportunities. This role involves administering medications, monitoring clinical data, educating patients, and providing drug information to the healthcare team. The pharmacist will collaborate with Clinical Pharmacy leadership on various projects aimed at enhancing the quality of care and fostering personal and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Washington Pharmacist License upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient-specific medications and clinical data for safety and efficacy.
  • Monitor clinical data and evaluate pharmacoeconomic optimization opportunities.
  • Administer medications as required.
  • Educate patients on medication use and safety.
  • Provide drug information to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Pharmacy leadership on quality improvement projects.
