About The Position

The Director of Pharmacy at Mercy is responsible for overseeing safe and effective drug therapy within the healthcare team. Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Current pharmacist license from the state of practice.
• Two or more years of clinical experience preferred, along with a PGY-1 residency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and effective drug therapy in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Serve as a drug information resource for pharmacy, nursing, and medical staff.
• Provide drug information to patients as needed.
