About The Position

The Clinical Pharmacist at Mercy Hospital is responsible for overseeing the preparation and dispensing of medications, verifying medication orders, and monitoring patient medication therapy. This role acts as a resource for medication information for healthcare professionals and patients, while also identifying and resolving medication-related issues. The pharmacist supervises pharmacy support personnel to ensure timely medication administration and adheres to established policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited School or College of Pharmacy.
  • Current pharmacist license from the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.

  • Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
